Gleb Korneev: “Neither Gwen nor I are musicians by education. I only started playing bass guitar after university, around the age of 25. It began as a hobby, alongside my work at a commercial bank. Gwen and I met while working together at the consulting company PwC. That was about seven years ago. At the time, Gwen had a cover band called Croupier, where he sang alongside his friend from Ireland. A spot for a bassist opened up, and I joined them. We played covers with Croupier for four years, regularly performing at ‘Krizis Zhanra’ and at corporate events. Eventually, we got tired of it and decided to form a new band, which became October Sun.
