Gleb Korneev, participant of October Sun interview and song “Margarita”.
Gleb Korneev: “Neither Gwen nor I are musicians by education. I only started playing bass guitar after university, around the age of 25. It began as a hobby, alongside my work at a commercial bank. Gwen and I met while working together at the consulting company PwC. That was about seven years ago. We played covers with Croupier for four years, regularly performing at ‘Krizis Zhanra’ and at corporate events. Eventually, we got tired of it and decided to form a new band, which became October Sun. Initially, it was also a cover band, but within a year I wrote our first song, ‘First Day of Your Life’, and from that point on we began mixing our cover repertoire with original compositions, until we had so many of our own songs that there was no room for covers in our performances…” (Source: http://yablor.ru/)
