Professional in finance, economics, corporate governance and control, founder of Race Life, Vasily Kudrin joined the first Russian team to take part in and overcome Balaton Supermarathon (total distance is 196 km).


The Lake Balaton Supermarathon is a series of ultramarathons linked into one, taking place in Hungary around Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe.

This competitive event includes several formats, the most exciting, challenging, and prestigious distance being the supermarathon, which is almost 200 km long. It is the fastest of the world’s most challenging mass-participation supermarathons. This year, Russians ran it for the first time.

The geography of the Balaton SuperMarathon route is as follows: Siofok -> Fonyod -> Szigliget/Badacsonytomaj -> Balatonfüred -> Siofok.

  • Day 1: March 20, 2014 – 48.2 km (Siofok – Fonyod);
  • Day 2: March 21, 2014 – 52.9 km (Fonyod – Szigliget);
  • Day 3: March 22, 2014 – 43.6 km (Badacsonytomaj – Balatonfüred);
  • Day 4: March 23, 2014 – 50.7 km (Balatonfüred – Siofok).

Vasily Kudrin had achieved the result after 4 days and 195.4 km18 hours, 17 minutes, 48 seconds.
